"[...] Throughout our collaborations during Sanna's time at RISE, and at occasions since, I have experienced Sanna's extensive knowledge and skill as an interaction designer. Whether it comes to questioning assumptions of a design problem, better understand the tasks at hand and the tools required for them, performing thoughtful and well-planned research, or involving crucial and overlooked stakeholders at different levels of participation, Sanna was a reliable colleague and a source of inspiration. Sanna's applied work on design and technologies related to urban development, grassroots practices or human-nature coexistence clearly let these areas of expertise shine through [...]. As a designer, colleague and friend, I cannot recommend Sanna Klefbom enough."

CV
Hi, I’m Sanna. A research-driven experience designer with a focus on innovation and design leadership. With a humanistic background in culture and aesthetics, and a master in interaction design, I blend theory with creativity and functionality, to create meaningful and beautiful experiences that connect people, places, and systems.
At AFRY Experience Studios I’m currently Design Team Lead for Scania, guiding cross-functional teams to create intuitive interactions between people and vehicles. I support and mentor designers, translate complex problems into clear visual narratives, and use tools like Figma throughout the process from first wireframes to polished prototypes and handoff-ready files.
My design journey started at RISE Research Institute of Sweden where I worked in a research project exploring how digital tools like urban digital twins and AR can enable better dialogue between citizens and city officials. That work deepened my interest in how design, technology, and culture intersect.
When I don't work I spend time with my family and friends, preferably in the pine forests of my home county Hälsingland, or at the restaurants around my current home Majorna. I love reading, capture everyday moments in analog photography, cooking asian food, and exploring new music on NTS Radio. The by far most streamed TV in our home is women's football.
